Another beginning, 1971 C10 Chevrolet stepside bed pickup

Well, we have them lined up at the moment!

The latest full resto is this rare 1971 C10 Chevrolet stepside bed pickup. The car is a family heirloom of a prominent Adelaide Doctor and the history from new is known and documented.

We plan to remove the tray, panels, and cab and sand blast them all. We will then strip the chassis, sandblast and powdercoat it. A full mechanical rebuild and polished Jarrah in the tray.
Check out the dealer fitted rear bumper!! Blue flame six, power steering and column auto from the factory!

Very rusty in the body, rotten wood in the tray and not much paint left. Keep an eye on our gallery along the way, this will be a head turner when its done!

Buick Riviera in the paint shop today

Today the Buick Riviera Roadster went to the paint shop. It will be painted in Lexus Pearl White.

After much deliberation we decided that the bare metal prepped body needed some classy paint to keep it looking sharp! The bumpers and trims will go for chroming tomorrow and hopefully it will return before the paint is finished. New rubbers are on their way. More updates soon, check out the latest pictures in our gallery!

Polara making progress

As of today the underbody and suspension of the Polara are reassembled. The floor section has been sealed inside and out with black stoneguard. A new petrol tank, handbrake cables and brakes all round have been fitted.

The extractors have been removed to improve ground clearance and standard manifolds refitted . A new twin exhaust system has been fabricated and fitted. The next step is final prep and detailing for registration inspection.

More soon!
