Dodge Polara interior floor sealed today

Today we sealed the inside floor on the Polara.

All rectification work inside the car is complete and the whole floor inside the car has been coated with sound deadening sealer. It's a shame it will all be covered with carpet, seats etc. We know how nice it looks no matter what's on top of it!

Whats next? The rear suspension and rear axle is being restored and painted with new bushes and shackles being fitted. You can find the latest pictures in our gallery.

Project : 1970 Polara Restoration

This project looked fine when it came out of the container. The new owner turned to us to perform a full restoration on his classic vehicle. After stripping the interior, this is what we found and beside it is what we did to fix it.

It's official, we're female friendly!

Ladies, have you ever wondered what your mechanic means when they say your "carby's stuffed love"?

Well now you don't have to. A new Adelaide business called Female Friendly is working to ensure that from now on, your mechanic will not only be on his best behaviour but explain everything to you in terminology you can actually understand.

The idea was born to create a company, which would provide an accreditation system whereby mechanics could be certified female friendly.

The first step was no dirty pictures in the workshop, but there is much much more to earning the Female Friendly `Pink Tick.'

Mechanics have to provide comfortable, spotless waiting rooms, clean rest rooms and a minimum quotation, with any further work only done after consultation with the customer and their approval. Mechanics also must explain whether work is cosmetic, ongoing maintenance or a pressing safety issue such as brake problems.
