On the 30th of October at the Adelaide Showgrounds EASTSIDE will have a HUGE display of cars.
We will have a great cross section of our work including "work in progress" and "finished" jobs
Our experienced staff will be manning our display during the show , so come on over and say gooday!
If you are keen to know more about how we go about our business then the show will be a great forum to spend some time finding out.
We will be running a video of our restorations , step by step , before and after together with products for sale!

Aussie Dollar makes US Imports desirable
A surge in the strength of the Aussie Dollar has made NOW a great time to give some thought to that classic US iron that you have always wanted

We are about to leave Australia bound for the SEMA show in Las Vegas which starts early November
We will go from Vegas to the east coast where we will hire a car and drive to Texas to visit a great business associate who sources some of the cleanest 60s US iron we've ever seen.

DYNO DAY -XR8/XR6 & FPV OWNERS CLUB OF SA
The second Dyno shootout in the "2009 Use It or Lose It" series is Saturday the 24th of July 2009 from 9.30 am
Whether your car is a stocker or a street demon its a bit of fun just to see what you have at the back wheels!
If you have an XR or FPV and arent a club member,come along and chat to the guys from the club . We are sure they will give you plenty of ideas and inspiration.
We will have a barby and a few softys and a chat afterwards so come on down and get involved!

"Mustangs On The Move" Dyno Day Saturday 11th July
On the 11th of July we will have the first of our "Use It Or Lose It" Dyno Series.
The idea that our cars sit in the shed over winter is yesterdays, and we are holding this series to promote club members using their cars and enjoying them all year round, rain or shine.
We've made some substantial changes to the way we do things and part of it hinges around getting cars on rollers and listening to them sing!
Of course, a barby and some spirited chatting will surely ensue.

Changes to LP Gas rebate scheme
Last night the Federal Budget handed down by Treasurer Wayne Swan included some changes to "manage" the strong demand for the LPG Vehicle Scheme. Essentially the grant for factory vehicles remains as is but the grant for retrofit vehicles is gradually being reduced by $250 per annum over the next 4 years starting 1st July 2009.
"The Government will manage strong demand under the LPG vehicle scheme by reducing the rebate for post-factory conversions to LPG fuel systems, at an estimated cost of $7.9 million over five years (including a saving of $6 million in 2013-14).The rebate will be reduced from the current $2,000 per conversion to $1,750 per conversion from 1st July 2009, and then reduce further to $1,500 from 1st July 2010, $1,250 from 1st July 2011, and $1000 from 1st July 2012.
For privately owned new cars the $2,000 rebate for factory fitted LPG fuel systems will remain unchanged."
This management of grants seemed to be a consistant theme with other programs also getting scale-backs.
